The Forestry Stewardship Council has recently brought into effect updates to it's Chain Of Custody standard, (FSC-STD-40-004 V2-1) which includes: self declarations of commitments; commitments to occupational health and safety; revised terminology; and a completely new product classification system.

This standard is already live as of October 1, 2011, and NCRs and observations shall be written for those certificate holders who have not incorporated these changes into their documents, procedures and processes for their next annual audit. The Government of Ontario has published O. Reg 191/11, which includes the Accessibility Standard for Information and Communications. The standard addresses mandatory accessiblity options for people who have various disabilities, and how organiziations must provide for them. Organisations must have a documented policy with procedures, and provide training to all members of your staff by January 2012.
